International Children's Games in Tallinn 2025
The 57th International Children's Games will take place in Tallinn with the participation of a team from Odessa.
On November 23rd, a memorial event was held in Odessa to honor the victims of the Holodomor of 1932-1933, a tragedy that left a profound impact on the history of our nation.
This horrific event caused immense suffering and loss. During the Soviet era, discussing it was forbidden, and the memory of the tragedy was passed down only within families.
Today, we have the opportunity to speak openly about these events so that the world remembers the millions of innocent lives lost to the genocide perpetrated by the Soviet regime. This year, we once again honor the memory of those who perished amidst a full-scale war, during which Russia continues its genocidal actions against Ukrainians.
Annually, on the fourth Saturday of November, the country commemorates the victims of the Holodomor of 1932-1933, as well as the other man-made famines of 1921-1923 and 1946-1947.
