Today, a solemn unveiling of new information stands honoring 144 fallen defenders and heroines of Ukraine took place at the Heroes' Alley in T.G. Shevchenko Park.

In total, the Heroes' Alley features information about 421 heroes. The effort to commemorate their memory continues. 

“Each of these heroes represents a part of the incredible strength that allowed Ukraine to endure and keep fighting for a free future. Their bravery is the foundation of our independence, and we must remember this. Thanks to their dedication, we can live, work, and build our country's future today,” stated the Mayor of Odesa, Hennadiy Trukhanov. 

Additionally, at the request of the families, Christmas trees have been set up near the Alley, which children from the families of fallen defenders will decorate with handmade ornaments as part of the event for St. Nicholas Day.
