Traffic Restrictions Extended in Odesa
Traffic restrictions in Odesa extend due to sewage collector replacement work.
On the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, a delegation from the Odesa region had the honor to meet with Mr. Arne Frankenstein, the State Commissioner for Disability Affairs of the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen.
During the meeting, within the framework of the implementation of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, preliminary agreements were reached on cooperation in areas of sharing experiences in the implementation of inclusion and accessibility in various fields. Special attention was given to the training of social work specialists and the creation of innovative barrier-free spaces for all categories of the population.
The German side shared valuable insights and experiences in resolving pre-trial conflicts arising from discrimination against persons with disabilities.
Additionally, we received assurances of support in finding partners to provide the Odesa region with specialized vehicles for transporting persons with disabilities, which is extremely important for our area.
We sincerely thank Mr. Arne Frankenstein and the German side for their openness to cooperation, knowledge exchange, and the commitment to work together towards creating a more inclusive and equitable society.
