Every year on the third Sunday of March, Ukraine celebrates Municipal Workers' Day.

On this significant occasion, Odessa's Mayor Gennady Trukhanov addressed the workers:

Today we celebrate your professional holiday — the day of those whose daily, often unnoticed, yet extremely important work ensures comfort and cleanliness in our city.
Your dedication, diligence, and responsibility deserve the highest respect. Thanks to you, Odessa remains tidy and cozy for its residents.
Thank you for your work, patience, and professionalism. I wish you good health, warmth in your families, prosperity, and success in all your endeavors!

Before the holiday, the mayor presented honorary awards to the best workers of municipal enterprises in Odessa.
