Overview of the water supply situation in Odesa and alternative water sources during the power outage.
According to a Google study (February 2025), Ukrainian children begin using the internet actively at the age of five, spending at least one hour online daily. Among teenagers, this figure is even higher—79% spend over three hours online every day.
In response to the growing use of the internet by children, Ukraine has launched the «Safer Internet Center», aimed at combating cyberbullying, fraud, and unwanted content. This initiative is being implemented by the NGOs «Magnolia», «La Strada-Ukraine», and «Docudays».
The center focuses on three main areas:
Hotline StopCrime
This hotline accepts reports regarding materials of sexual violence against children online, assists in their blocking, and collaborates with the international network INHOPE. The StopCrime project is supported by the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, Diia.Education, and the Cyber Police Department of the National Police of Ukraine to combat violence against children online.
Support line for children and youth 116111
This national hotline provides psychological and legal assistance to children who have become victims of online violence or faced other online threats.
Awareness activities
The center conducts informational campaigns for children, parents, educators, and law enforcement to raise awareness about digital hygiene.
Safer Internet Centers are a common practice in EU countries and are supported within the Insafe network. The Ministry of Digital Transformation collaborates with European partners to create a safe digital environment for children.
