The film, a collaboration between the Odessa Film Studio and the Bulgarian company MagicMountLimited, received support from the Ukrainian State Film Agency. The premiere of 'Edge of the River' took place at the 29th Sofia International Film Festival, marking a significant moment for the team.
Although some members could not attend, their contributions were felt in every scene.

The plot follows a Bulgarian named Fory who finds himself in the Danube Delta. In the Ukrainian city of Vylkove, due to tragic circumstances, he ends up in custody.

However, in this city inhabited by Lipovans, Fory discovers true love, and the beauty and spiritual atmosphere of the 'Ukrainian Venice' gives him the sense that this is the place he has been searching for all his life.
