The «Odessa Kindness Weeks 2025» have officially begun. This annual initiative brings together local authorities, businesses, and citizens to perform good deeds for the community.
 
Traditionally, the project lasts for one week, and this year, 15 weeks of kindness are scheduled from April 4 to July 18. 

«We are gathered here today not just to launch the «Kindness Weeks» — we are opening our hearts, sharing our energy, and envisioning a better future. It is particularly heartwarming that these acts of kindness transcend Odessa and unite all of Ukraine!

Thanks to your efforts and volunteers from various cities, kindness is becoming a universal language understood by all, regardless of their place of residence, age, or profession», emphasized Odessa's mayor Gennady Trukhanov.

In 2025, the project has expanded and is being implemented in other cities of Ukraine. 

The initiator of the «Kindness Weeks», Deputy Mayor Pavel Vugelman, addressed the participants:

«I truly believe in the boomerang of kindness in the world. I believe that kindness always returns! I believe that you don't always need resources or money to do good, just the desire to help!»
