The Odesa Regional Bureau of Forensic Medicine has officially inaugurated a new genetic laboratory. This represents a significant advancement in conducting DNA analyses at a modern technological level, in line with international standards.

The laboratory will enable effective identification of fallen servicemen, collaboration with government authorities and security forces during repatriation, and will support investigations and forensic examinations.

In the context of the ongoing war, this is yet another critical step to honor the memory of fallen heroes and assist families of the missing. The laboratory also contributes to the development of the medical sector in the Odesa region and enhances its capabilities during wartime.
