Visit of the Foreign Minister to Odesa University

During a working visit to Odesa, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiga met with students at Odesa National University named after I.I. Mechnikov, one of the leading educational institutions in southern Ukraine.

The discussion included international relations and political science students who are preparing to represent Ukraine globally.

The meeting was characterized by warmth and dynamism. The minister was open to dialogue, eagerly answering questions and sharing his experiences in Ukrainian diplomacy while outlining the current challenges of foreign policy.

“Modern diplomacy requires not only professionalism but also flexibility, a deep understanding of the world, and clear value orientations. This is what the new generation of Ukrainian diplomats must embody,” emphasized Andriy Sybiga.

Students inquired about European integration, information security, the challenges of war, Ukraine's representation globally, and the internal motivation to serve the state during difficult times. The responses were inspiring and thought-provoking.

Meetings like this are an investment in the future of our country, shaping those who will soon craft Ukraine's image on the international stage.

We thank Andriy Sybiga for his openness and the university staff for creating such a welcoming atmosphere!
