Fishing Retreat: Veterans’ Recovery Day in Odesa Region

Calmness, water, and comrades by your side — this is what recovery looks like.

A fishing day was organized for veterans in the Odesa region — not just a getaway, but a time to breathe, listen to oneself, and to those around.

This event is about care and recognition. For those who have faced the front lines, having a safe space for adaptation and emotional healing is crucial.

Why this matters:

  • informal communication among peers;
  • relaxation after experiencing trauma;
  • returning to the simple joys of life.

We are grateful to everyone who has defended and continues to defend our country. We are doing everything we can to support their journey to a peaceful “after”.

Organizers and partners of the event:

  • Anatoliy Belyev — head of the Spartak Sports Society;
  • Volodymyr Stanislavov — owner of the Aqua-City pond;
  • Odesa Fine Arts Museum;
  • Odesa Regional Fishing Sports Federation;
  • Department of Physical Culture and Sports of the OVA;
  • Rehabilitation Department; Golden Catch; FeederSport; Nice House; Fisherman's Post.

We support our defenders!
