Today at the "Fighters for Ukraine" memorial, the annual ceremony to honor the fallen heroes of Ukraine — the "Memory Bell", was held in memory of local residents who lost their lives in July over the past 11 years of war.

The event was organized by Veterans HUB ODESA, the NGO "Hearts of Mothers of Odesa Region", and "Family of Angels of Light". The State Anthem of Ukraine was performed by the creative team from the Avant-garde Cultural Services Center.

Families of the fallen, veterans, members of the special forces unit “Magura”, representatives of the Council of Churches and religious organizations of Odesa Region, the Ukrainian Institute of National Memory, the NGO "LEGION 12", the Security and Defense Forces of Southern Ukraine, as well as representatives from the Odesa City Council, the Military Academy of Odesa, ODVUS, the representative of the Commissioner of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for Human Rights in Odesa Region Maria Popova, and the government representative for the rights of persons with disabilities in Odesa Region Oleg Sokolov participated in the ceremony.

 The ceremony was conducted by the deputy head of Veterans HUB ODESA Mykola Storozhuk.
