Cultural Festival in Odesa: Celebrating Heritage and Community

From September 5 to 7, Odesa hosted the annual cultural festival «Black Sea Steppe», which brought together artisans from various regions of Ukraine.

During this time, Odesa transformed into a hub for dialogue and social unity, serving as a platform for exchanging experiences and promoting Ukrainian culture.

On September 5, master kobzars provided unique performances featuring the bandura, kobza, and lyre, while the film «The Guide» showcased the rich history of Ukrainian kobzar art.

On September 6, Shevchenko Park hosted a Cultural Fair, where over 300 participants showcased master classes, civic initiatives, book locations, historical reenactments, culinary delights, and art. The day concluded with a patriotic concert by the band Kozak System.

On September 7, in honor of International Literacy Day, attendees engaged in workshops and competitions, solving puzzles and answering quiz questions. A festive concert was also part of the program.

Active participation in the festival came from institutions of extracurricular education, which organized vibrant workshops for young visitors and their parents. Informational handouts and engaging presentations were prepared to introduce guests to various creative activities.

The festival's grand finale was the energetic rock festival MoreMusicFes, which filled the audience with joy and enthusiasm.

The festival was organized by KP «Odesa Parks» and NGO «Tenth of April» with support from the Odesa City Council and other partners.
