The municipal institution «Specialized Installation and Operation Unit» has summarized its work for the season along the city's coastline.

Thanks to the establishment of a two-way bike lane from the 11th to the 16th station of the Great Fountain, cyclists can now easily reach the coastline from the city center.

«The bike lane ensures safe travel through the city. We see its growing popularity, so at the mayor's request, we will continue developing cycling routes throughout Odesa,» said Deputy Mayor Pavlo Vuhelman.

The president of the «Arcadia» cycling club also noted the positive changes.

«This bike lane has become the best in the city. Since its opening, we’ve seen a significant increase in cyclists. People are actively responding to the new markings, which is pleasing as we witness the growth of cycling sports in Odesa,» said Victoria Bondarenko.

The city's plans include further development of cycling infrastructure, including connecting residential areas through new cycling routes.
