Odessa is implementing new adaptive sports programs to support veterans. In 2024, approximately 200 training sessions are planned with the participation of the disability sports club «Odessa-Basket».

Veterans are actively involved in cue sports (97 sessions) and wheelchair basketball (35 sessions).

Additionally, activities such as golf, table tennis, boxing, diving, and kayaking are being conducted. There is also a new initiative to engage veterans in amputee football.

Veterans from Odessa participated in the world championship for cue sports for athletes with disabilities in Los Angeles, as well as in national competitions for adaptive cue sports and wheelchair basketball.
