Moldovan Culture Festival in Odesa: A Celebration of Heritage
The Moldovan culture festival in Odesa showcased the rich cultural heritage of the Moldovan community, attracting numerous visitors.
The II stage of competitions for the project 'Shoulder to Shoulder Nationwide School Leagues' took place in Odesa for students of secondary schools in the 2024/2025 academic year.
School teams competed fiercely in volleyball and rugby-5, demonstrating sportsmanship and teamwork.
As a result of the volleyball matches, teams from Odesa Lyceums No. 7, 56, 86, and Odesa Gymnasium No. 25 advanced to the city III stage among girls in grades 5-9, while Lyceums No. 13, 51, 62, and Odesa Specialized School No. 32 progressed among girls in grades 9-11.
In the boys' category for grades 5-9, the winners were teams from Odesa Lyceums No. 5, 89, and Gymnasium No. 77, while in grades 9-11, the winning teams were from Lyceums No. 24, 84, and Odesa Specialized School No. 32.
This year marked the inaugural rugby-5 competitions among students of general education institutions in the city. Rugby-5 enhances speed, coordination, and strategic thinking, allowing teams to create unique tactical situations that require good communication.
The II stage winners of rugby-5 were teams from Odesa Lyceums No. 28, 40, and 69.
All participants demonstrated a high level of preparation and a strong will to win. Teams are diligently preparing for the upcoming competitions.

The project 'Shoulder to Shoulder Nationwide School Leagues' represents the largest student competitions in the country for the 2024/2025 academic year, under the motto 'Together We Will Win'. The goal is to increase the number of students engaged in sports and leading a healthy lifestyle.
