New Food Program for Schoolchildren in Odesa

A hot meal system for students in grades 1-4 has been launched in two districts of Odesa. Two additional districts are completing their tender processes.

Today, on November 14, Odesa's mayor, Hennadiy Trukhanov, inspected the food organization and spoke with students and parents in one of the largest schools in the Kyiv district.

The mayor also participated in a school drill conducted during alarms. Recently, renovations to expand the shelter at the school have been completed.

"Nearly 2000 children study here daily, attending classes in shifts to comply with safety regulations. Previously, the school's shelter accommodated only 250 individuals. This was insufficient for such an institution. A decision was made to expand it, and most importantly, all necessary conditions were created.  Today, the shelter can hold twice as many people", - summed up Odesa's mayor Hennadiy Trukhanov.
