On December 6-7, 2024, the Odessa Region Mixed Martial Arts Cup took place, honoring the Security Forces and Defense of Southern Ukraine.

The tournament featured 214 athletes from the Odessa region.

Students from the Comprehensive Children's and Youth Sports School No. 15 in Odessa claimed a total of 17 medals, showcasing their talent and dedication.

Among the champions in their respective weight and age categories were: Artem Hlushchak, Ilya Dyvynets, Mukhamed Ovan, Hlib Zadolinny, Artem Sinkov, Artur Dokshakov, Viktoriya Morosenko, and Oleksandr Rybakov.

The silver medals were awarded to: Yaroslav Lahunov, Petro Polozovskyi, Ibrahym Ovan, Maksym Motyha, and Viktoriya Morosenko.

Bronze medalists included: Mykyta Leonov, Marat Dzhaфаров, Daniil Markov, and Dmytro Tkach.

The athletes were trained by coaches Ruslan Hasanov, Andriy Solomanchuk, and Viktoriya Demidova.

The MMA department was established at the Municipal Institution of Specialized Out-of-School Education «Children's and Youth Sports School No. 15» in September 2023.
