The Ukrainian Cup in climbing (speed category) took place in Kropyvnytskyi from December 5 to 7, 2024.

A total of 149 athletes participated, with 67 women and 82 men competing.

The representatives from Odesa included athletes from the Odesa Specialized Children's and Youth Sports School of Olympic Reserve and the Odesa Regional School of Higher Sports Mastery “Olympian”.

During the Ukrainian Cup, athlete Yevheniya Kolesnyk from the Olympic Reserve School initially won a silver medal and later improved her performance in the finals to claim the title of champion.

Another notable athlete, Kostiantyn Pavlenko from the Odesa Regional School of Higher Sports Mastery “Olympian,” also secured a silver medal at this stage of the competition.

The athletes were trained by coaches Liubov Zymova and Tetiana Pashaeva.
