The international trampoline tournament «Friendship Cup» was held from October 11 to 14, 2024, in the Czech city of Jablonec nad Nisou, featuring 380 athletes from 12 countries.

Representing Ukraine were athletes Sofia Alarova and Veronika Pyatakova from the Comprehensive Children and Youth Sports School No. 1 in Odesa.

Trained by coaches Regina Brailova and Lilia Zakolodyazhna, they secured three medals in the competition.

In the individual jumps, Sofia Alarova took second place, achieving an impressive score of 53.410, just behind Jessica Stevens from the USA, who scored 54.600.

In synchro jumps, the duo of Alarova and Pyatakova finished 7th in the qualification round (43.750) but delivered an outstanding performance in the finals, earning bronze medals with a score of 46.050.

This March, Sofia and Veronika also became bronze medalists at the World Cup in Alkmaar, Netherlands.

At the Comprehensive Children and Youth Sports School No. 1, there are 54 young athletes engaged in trampoline sports.
