The finals of the Youth Basketball Championship of Ukraine for players born in 2012 took place in Ternopil.

The final match featured teams from Dnipro SDYUSSHOR-5 and Uzhhorod-ZODYUSSH.

The reigning champions, SDYUSSHOR-5, went undefeated throughout the season and secured a convincing victory in the final, winning 96-58.

In the third-place game, the Odessa SDYUSSHOR named after B.D. Litvak triumphed over the Cherkasy region team, "Cherkasy Monkeys", with a score of 71-62. Ivan Vasiliev, who made it to the symbolic team of the season, scored 30 points.

The athletes were coached by Ihor Solovey, Valeriy Balashov, and Vladyslav Yanaky.

In the specialized institutions of extracurricular education in Odessa, 394 young athletes are engaged in basketball.
