On May 10, 2025, the National Climbing Championships for youth (bouldering, combined) took place in Lviv.

A total of 197 athletes aged 9 to 17 from 7 regions of Ukraine and Kyiv participated in the event.

Odessa was represented by 45 young climbers - students from the Specialized Children's and Youth Sports School, the Comprehensive Children's and Youth Sports School "Dynamo," as well as the Odessa Mountaineering Club and the climbing section of the Odessa Private Lyceum "Step."

The students from the Specialized Children's and Youth Sports School performed impressively, achieving high results.

The winners of the competition were: Vira Hutsol (U15, 13-14 years), Maria Katereva (U11, 9-10 years), Matviy Lypovskyi (U9, 7-8 years), and Kateryna Bozhko (U9, 7-8 years).

Silver medals were awarded to: Tymur Hladkykh (U15, 13-14 years), Polina Shaparets (U9, 7-8 years), and Dmytro Labunskyi (U17, 15-16 years).

Bronze medals went to: Ksenia Tsyrulnykova (Specialized Children's and Youth Sports School, U9, 7-8 years), as well as Georgiy Vatamanyuk and Kirill Papusha (Odessa Private Lyceum "Step," U9, 7-8 years) and Maksym Zhukov (Odessa Mountaineering Club, U9, 7-8 years).

The athletes were trained by: Liubov Zymova, Viktor Remnev, Oleksiy Krynetskyi, Tetiana Pashayeva, Oleksandr Shaparets, and Andriy Merzlyakov.
