Free Access to Google Tools for Ukrainian Students

Starting from October 8, Ukrainian students will gain a year of free access to Gemini and AI Pro subscription from Google.

This was announced on Telegram by Mykhailo Fedorov, the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation.

«Modern tools are essential for students to learn more effectively and develop their skills. From now on, students aged 18 and older can enjoy a free annual subscription to Google AI Pro», he stated.

Ukrainian university students will have access to the following services:

  • Gemini 2.5 Pro – a chat tool that assists with learning and complex topics. Users can upload images and receive real-time explanations;
  • Deep Research – a tool that independently analyzes hundreds of sources and creates structured reports. It saves hours on preparing term papers or essays;
  • NotebookLM – a personal assistant for organizing knowledge and notes, now with enhanced audio and video analysis capabilities;
  • Veo 3 – converts text or photos into 8-second videos with sound;
  • Jules – an AI assistant for programming, helping to write, test, and improve code;
  • 2 TB of cloud storage – ample space for all notes, documents, and projects.

To participate in the program, registration on the website is required.

We remind you that the Ministry of Digital Transformation has announced a new phase of cooperation with Google regarding the use of AI technologies for developing state AI products in Ukraine.
