On January 5, the gym of the Odesa Specialized Children and Youth Sports School of Olympic Reserve named after Boris Litvak hosted the annual mini basketball festival, part of the NOC of Ukraine project Do like Olympians.

This sports event during the New Year holiday has become a wonderful tradition and has been held for the fourth time.

The main participants of the festival, in addition to the young athletes, were the leading teams of the Odesa region: the men's team «BIPA-Odesa» (head coach - Oleksandr Riabchuk, captain - Dmytro Solovey) and the women's team «Interchem-SDYUSSHOR named after B. Litvak» (head coach - Iryna Shchipakina, captain - Svitlana Baturina).

About two hundred young basketball players aged 7 and older, representing various sports schools and clubs in Odesa, participated in the event.

Fun quizzes and master classes featuring famous players were organized for the children. At the end of the event, all participants received gifts - New Year sweets from the Odesa city and regional basketball federations, and Olympic prizes from the NOC of Ukraine in the Odesa region. The SDYUSSHOR named after B. Litvak received a set of basketballs.
