The Mayor of Odesa, Hennadiy Trukhanov, held a meeting with the commander of the 3rd mechanized battalion of the 28th separate mechanized brigade named after the Knights of the Winter Campaign, Volodymyr Luzhetskyi, along with his comrades. 

This brigade has already received over 138 million hryvnias in assistance from Odesa. Currently, these soldiers are defending Ukraine in a very challenging area of Donetsk. The city received a request from the fighters for further assistance, which will be processed promptly. 

This year, Odesa's budget allocated 206 million 093 thousand hryvnias to support the Defense Forces, with 10 million allocated specifically to the 28th brigade. Last year, Odesa transferred nearly 1.42 billion UAH to support the military. 

The city remains committed to working and aiding Ukrainian defenders.
