While on a mission in the Bakhmut direction, Ukrainian soldier Dmitry Yaremchuk from the Odessa region tragically lost his life. He was 44 years old. The farewell will take place tomorrow, April 4th.

In the city of Yuzhne, it was reported that Sergeant Dmitry Yaremchuk served as a machine gunner in the mechanized battalion of military unit A0666. He died on March 4 of this year while carrying out his duties near the settlement of Pivnichne in the Bakhmut district.

"We express our heartfelt condolences to Dmitry's family, relatives, and comrades. Eternal memory to the Defender of Ukraine, who sacrificed his life for our homeland!"

On April 4th, a Day of Mourning has been declared in the community. We ask that the national flags be lowered on buildings and structures in a sign of grief."
