Night Attack in Odesa: Consequences and Safety Measures

The Odesa City Council press office has reported that an enemy strike targeted residential areas in a densely populated part of Odesa last night.

The attack resulted in significant damage to numerous apartments and three schools, with over 90 windows shattered. At least three individuals have been injured.

Oksana Bujenovich, head of the education department, warns about the dangers for children following the night assault:

«It is crucial to explain to children: do not touch any suspicious objects found on the ground. They can be dangerous, and while adults share information online, it can be hard for children to understand these risks».

All relevant services are currently working on mitigating the aftermath of the Russian attacks.

An operational headquarters will be established in the district administration starting this morning, where consultations will be provided on how to apply for financial assistance for window and door repairs, as well as compensation from the state budget under the eRestoration program.

«Additionally, our reliable partners – public and charitable organizations – will provide support by offering kits for temporarily sealing windows,» the city hall reported.
