International Children's Games in Tallinn 2025
The 57th International Children's Games will take place in Tallinn with the participation of a team from Odessa.
On the evening of April 21, 2025, Odesa suffered a significant drone strike targeting a densely populated area of the city. Fires broke out as a result.
The attack caused extensive damage to residential buildings, public infrastructure, and vehicles. In three schools, more than 90 windows were shattered. Two of these schools are currently operating remotely.
Information regarding the injured is being updated.
The mayor of Odesa, along with emergency and municipal services, has arrived at the scene.
An operational headquarters will be set up in the morning at the district administration, where consultations will be provided on how to apply for financial assistance to restore windows and doors, as well as compensation from the state budget under the eRecovery program.
Additionally, reliable partners, including community and charitable organizations, will assist those affected by providing kits for temporarily sealing window openings.
