On the night of June 10, Odesa suffered significant damage due to a brutal drone strike.

The director of the Odesa Zoo, Ihor Beliakov, shared in a video that the main impact from the enemy “Shahed” drone struck the area between the animal care facility and the hay storage. A fire erupted, but firefighters quickly extinguished it. As a result, the technical areas were damaged and now require urgent repairs.

Sadly, one animal, a domestic lamb, lost its life due to the strike. Fortunately, other animals were unharmed and no staff members were injured.
