The Izmail District Prosecutor's Office has initiated a criminal investigation into the war crimes committed during the attack.

Investigation teams are on-site documenting all damages and collecting evidence. This is not the first instance of attacks on civilian infrastructure in Odesa, indicating attempts to instill fear and destabilize the local economy.

Prosecutors are working alongside law enforcement to document the war crimes committed by Russian forces.

It should be noted that at the time of the strike, an air raid alert was issued in Odesa region. The head of the OVA, Oleg Kiper, warned about the danger to the Izmail district.
