Odessa has faced another assault from Russia, leading to the death of one individual.

This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

The fire broke out from the 6th to the 9th floors of a nine-story residential building. Firefighters, alongside volunteers, managed to extinguish the flames.

Five individuals were rescued from the burning apartments; however, tragically, one woman did not survive.

Psychologists from the emergency services and the National Police were present at the scene.

Additionally, pets were evacuated from the affected apartments.

A total of 58 rescuers and 16 units of firefighting equipment were deployed to the site.
