Drone Attack on Izmail Infrastructure: Consequences and Investigations

In the early hours of September 2, Russian forces launched an attack on the infrastructure of the Izmail district in the Odessa region.
This was confirmed by the press service of the Izmail District State Administration.
“Thanks to a prompt response to the threat, significant destruction and casualties were avoided. Fires were quickly extinguished,” the statement said.

Later, it was reported that a 22-year-old man was injured in the drone attack on Izmail and was taken to the hospital. This information was provided by the press service of the Odessa Prosecutor's Office. The port infrastructure and property of several enterprises also sustained damage. Prosecutors are working on-site alongside police officers.
The Izmail District Prosecutor's Office has initiated a pre-trial investigation into the facts of war crimes (Part 1, Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
