A dangerous mine was washed ashore on one of Odesa's beaches. A controlled explosion was conducted to safely dispose of it.
This was reported by the Southern Regional Department of the State Border Guard Service.
A local resident discovered the mine and promptly alerted the nearest border unit.
Border guards informed specialists from the Navy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. They arrived at the scene, identified the munition, facilitated its transportation, and destroyed it through a controlled explosion.
The State Border Guard Service reminds that if you find suspicious objects, do not approach or touch them. It is essential to immediately notify the relevant authorities.
