New Vehicles Arrive in Odesa from Japan

The city of Odesa has recently replenished its fleet with new vehicles from Japan, including 10 water tankers and one truck.
Six of the tankers were handed over to the municipal enterprise «Miskzelentrest» for operational needs, while four tankers and the truck went to the «City Roads» enterprise. This organization is responsible for maintaining order on city roads and stops, and during the war, it collaborates with housing services to address the aftermath of enemy attacks.

Additionally, the water tankers are actively used for water delivery. For instance, Odesa's services transported water to Mykolaiv when the city was without water for several months. They also supplied water to the State Emergency Service for extinguishing large-scale fires in the ecosystem.

Moreover, during the energy system attacks, when Odesa was left without electricity, water, and heating, the tankers were utilized to provide water to areas lacking wells.

«I want to express immense gratitude to our Japanese friends for their incredible support. I wish health, happiness, and prosperity to the nation. May 2025 bring new opportunities for our cooperation with Japan and the realization of joint projects, especially for the restoration and development of Odesa!» - stated the mayor, Hennadiy Trukhanov.
