Final Event of EU4Culture Project in Chisinau

The capital of Moldova, Chisinau, is hosting a two-day concluding event of the EU4Culture program, initiated by the European Union to support cultural growth in Eastern Partnership countries, including Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine.

Representatives from various cities, artists, and cultural professionals are participating in this event where they have developed their cultural strategies under the EU4Culture project. Participants are sharing experiences and building national and international partnerships.

"Odessa joined the project only in mid-2023, but in a year has achieved several significant milestones,"

-  stated Ivan Liptuga, the director of the Department of Culture, International Cooperation, and Eurointegration of the Odessa City Council.

He also discussed his work on the "Cultural Development Strategy for Odessa 2025-2035" - an essential document for the city's cultural future, alongside other significant initiatives:

- a guide on preserving Odessa's cultural heritage;

- a manual for designing Odessa's signboards;

- visualization of Odessa's symbols — creating 3D models of iconic city symbols and more initiatives.

The strategic vision for Odessa's cultural development was created in collaboration with cultural figures, representatives of creative industries, and non-governmental organizations. This document will be presented to the Odessa City Council for consideration.
