Road Marking Restoration in Odesa
The municipal establishment SMEП continues the restoration of road markings near schools in Odesa.
On July 2, the Government of the Czech Republic made the decision to transfer the mobile station ARK III to Ukraine, designed for the digitization and preservation of cultural heritage at risk of destruction due to the full-scale war.
The ARK project is being implemented under the program "Support for Ukrainian Culture," a joint initiative of the Czech Ministry of Culture and the Czech ICOM Committee. It is also under the patronage of Czech Minister of Culture Martin Baxa.
"This is significant work, though it may seem inconspicuous at first glance, that will yield real results — aiding Ukraine in preserving its cultural heritage," said Martin Baxa.
The ARK project consists of three specialized units. ARK I focuses on the conservation and restoration of documentary heritage, including books and manuscripts. ARK II will provide a mobile solution for digitizing 2D objects from Ukrainian cultural institutions. ARK III is a mobile 3D digitization station, one of the first of its kind, created to preserve museum artifacts.
The Ukrainian side expresses heartfelt gratitude to the Government of the Czech Republic, Minister of Culture Martin Baxa, institutions, and partner organizations for their systematic and professional support.
The implementation of the ARK project is yet another example of deep international solidarity.
