International cooperation has become a significant aspect of the development of Ukrainian cities. Odessa continues to maintain its position as a leader in this area.

As of August 11, 2025, Odessa ranks second in Ukraine regarding the number of international partnerships.

These partnerships go beyond mere formal agreements. They include equipment supplies, municipal machinery, hospitals, pumps, generators, boiler houses, and the implementation of new solutions that are already operational or in the process of being realized.

“This is a systematic effort in extremely challenging times. And we are fully aware of what we are striving for,” emphasized Anna Pozdnyakova, Deputy Mayor of Odessa.
