The restoration of an apartment building at Serednia Street, 24, Building 4 in Odesa continues, following significant damage from a massive Russian missile attack.  

The structure has sustained considerable damage to its external walls, partitions, and structural elements. Experts indicate that timely stabilization efforts have prevented the building from collapsing. 
Recently, more active restoration work has commenced. 

«Restoration work is being conducted in a high-risk area due to the presence of 11 floors above without vertical support over an area of about 100 square meters,» emphasized Artem Zakharov, deputy director of the Odesa City Council's Department of Municipal Economy. 

«Most of the demolition work has been completed. We have moved on to a more challenging phase - the restoration of the reinforced concrete framework. The first vertical column has been erected. Preparatory work for pouring the second slab has begun, which will reinforce this structure,» stated Anatoliy Rahulin, director of LLC «Stikon». 

Construction workers note that the task is quite labor-intensive and unique, with no analogs in Ukraine. To preserve all parts of the structure, work must be done in sections, which takes more time but is more effective for maintaining the multi-story building. 

The completion of the works is planned for the end of June 2025.
