As part of the Internet Safety initiative, a series of interactive workshops titled “Your Online Safety” and “Cyber Threats in Our Lives” were organized for students in Odessa. The goal of these workshops is to educate children on safe internet usage and the ability to distinguish between true and fake information.

The workshops, conducted by Denis Popkov, a senior lecturer at the Department of Information Technology and Cybersecurity at Odessa National Technical University, covered topics such as: basics of media literacy; safe smartphone usage; dangers of free Wi-Fi networks; enemy actions in the information space and on the Internet (manipulations, IPSO).

This series of lectures is a vital step toward increasing children's awareness of cybersecurity and will help them feel more confident in the online space.
