At 24 Serednya Street, building 4 in Odesa, reconstruction has begun for an apartment building damaged by a massive missile attack.

The building sustained significant damage to its external structures, partitions, and other elements. To prevent collapse, emergency stabilization works were carried out, halting further degradation.

«The building on Serednya is, without exaggeration, one of the most challenging projects. Thanks to our unity and timely funding, we managed to avert an even greater tragedy», remarked Odesa Mayor Hennadiy Trukhanov. 

Currently, following all necessary procedures and the results of the tender, the company «Stikon» has started the restoration work. 

«After the completion of restoration and liquidation works, a project was commissioned from the Odesa State Academy of Construction and Architecture, which was examined and restoration works were initiated», added Artem Zakharov, Deputy Director of the Department of Urban Economy of the Odesa City Council. 

At present, specialists are focused on restoring the external structures of the building, internal walls, and partitions. Preparatory works for strengthening the building and erecting new structures have also commenced. 

Completion of the works is planned by the end of June 2025. 

A total of 42 million UAH has been allocated from the city budget for the restoration of the damaged building, of which 7 million UAH is for mitigating the consequences of the attack, and 35 million UAH is for restoration.
