Deputy Mayor of Odesa Hanna Pozdniakova and the director of the municipal enterprise «City Heating Supply of Odesa» Valeriy Ivanov held a press conference regarding the company's readiness for the new heating season.

«As of today, all boilers owned by the enterprise are prepared for operation. We have completed the pressure testing of all boiler heating surfaces, repaired any identified damages across all boilers, and conducted hydraulic testing of all heating networks,» Valeriy Ivanov stated.

«I would like to emphasize that the tariff for residential consumers remains at the level established on February 24, 2022, which is 1813 UAH/Gcal. Regarding the exact start date for the boilers, we do not have a specific date in mind. According to the current legislation, the heating period begins after an appropriate order from the Mayor of Odesa if the average daily temperature remains +8 degrees Celsius or lower for three consecutive days. Under such temperature conditions, the enterprise will first provide heat to social facilities and later to residential consumers. Based on the Hydrometeorological Center's data, we can conclude that the heating season in Odesa is expected to start in November,» Hanna Pozdniakova noted.
