From October to November 2024, the Municipal Institution of Extracurricular Education «Odesa City Center for Choreographic Arts» hosted a charity art project titled «Open Your Palms for Good» along with a nationwide seminar-practice on «Styling Ukrainian Folk Stage Dance and Methodological Approaches to Teaching Modern Dance Styles in Choreographic Groups».

The event was organized in partnership with the National Choreographic Union of Ukraine and the Odesa Regional Organization of the National Choreographic Union of Ukraine.

Funds raised from ticket sales for the concert «Open Your Palms for Good» were allocated for the purchase of essential equipment and materials for soldiers undergoing treatment and rehabilitation in medical facilities in Odesa.

The seminar program included workshops led by top specialists in choreography, demonstration lessons, and discussions on relevant teaching methodologies for modern dance in children's choreographic groups.

All participants in the seminar received certificates of qualification enhancement.
