April 3 at the International Cultural Center UNION hosted the III Regional Conference 'Culture Without Barriers', dedicated to World Autism Awareness Day. The event was organized in collaboration with cultural partners.

Notable participants included teacher Ivanna Demirova, co-author of the textbook 'Inclusive Environment', reports Rayon.Bolgrad.

Conference in the Context of the Year of Accessibility

2025 has been declared the Year of ACCESSIBLE SPACE, and the conference «Culture Without Barriers» became a significant milestone in this initiative. The goal was to create an accessible cultural space and implement inclusive solutions.

Participants discussed the following topics:

• principles of accessibility;

• cultural services for people with disabilities;

• socialization for children with special needs;

• mental health during wartime;

• methodological work in culture.

An exhibition of ceramics from the inclusive workshop also took place, showcasing the power of art as a means of expression and inclusion.
