Explosions in Odesa: Dog Found After Drone Attack

On the evening of April 22, 2025, a dog breeding facility in the suburbs of Odesa was damaged due to a drone attack. A dog named Ichi escaped during the explosion. The owner of the kennel, Oksana Prokhorova, posted a notice about his search.

In a comment to Suspilne, she shared the terrifying details of that night and informed that the missing dog was found.

"That night was incredibly frightening. The blast was so powerful that windows and doors flew out. The strongest impact occurred when the kennel caught fire, and the dog ran away. Thankfully, he was found in the morning," she noted.

Another dog from Orenburg experiences stress during shelling, so during air alerts, it stays with its owner in the bathroom.

"The sound was deafening. My husband rushed in and lay on us, and at that moment, there was an explosion," Oksana recalls.

The dog that escaped was in the kennel at the time of the explosion. He ran away in panic:

"Fortunately, he was just in the kennel. We checked at night and saw there was no blood, — we would find him. All the dog owners were trying to help in the search at night, but he was only found in the morning when it got light."
