The head of the Odessa Regional Military Administration, Oleg Kiper, shared updates during a television broadcast.

He stated that the process of preparing the beaches has been initiated. Officials are collaborating closely with military and emergency services. The primary goal at this moment is to verify the presence of shelters, secure the areas from potential threats such as sea mines, and identify safe zones for swimming.

“There’s no point in holding people back. They should be able to relax, improve their health, receive vitamin D, and enjoy psychological relief. Odessa is alive, and this is important not only for locals but for the entire country,” Kiper emphasized.

He also highlighted that proper beach preparation is vital for the growth of tourism in Odessa.
