Ukrainian defense forces successfully neutralized 33 Russian drones in the night sky over Ukraine.
In the past year, Ukraine has experienced a dramatic increase in gambling addiction cases, tripling the number of registered individuals. Currently, there are 12,807 Ukrainians listed in the Gamblers' Registry.
According to "Opendatabot," the Registry saw an addition of 9,389 individuals last year, while 1,496 were removed due to the expiration of their restrictions.
Since its inception, a total of 14,979 individuals have entered the Registry, with 2,172 already removed.
It is noted that 99% of all entries in the Registry are voluntary requests. Individuals submit applications for self-restriction to block access to gambling establishments and participation in gambling activities for a specified period. This restriction lasts from six months to three years.
Meanwhile, only 1% are individuals restricted by a decision from the KRAIL. Throughout the existence of the registry, there have been 169 such decisions, most of which were made last year.
Last year, an average of 780 individuals entered the registry each month, which is 2.8 times more than in 2023, when about 280 individuals were added monthly. The highest number of self-restriction requests came in April - 1,041, while the lowest was in June - 524.
In the first two months of 2025, 1,719 individuals have already been added to the Registry, averaging 860 per month, which is 10% more than in 2024.
However, "Opendatabot" emphasized that there is currently no clear statistics regarding the actual number of citizens with gambling addiction in Ukraine, and the figures from the respective registry do not reflect the full picture, particularly for individuals engaging in online casinos.
