According to recent reports, voting is taking place from May 1 to July 1, 2025, on the official website of the Odesa City Council in the «Public Discussion» section on the platform «Socially Active Citizen» (citizen.omr.gov.ua). Participants can track the discussion process in real-time.

Only citizens registered in Odesa and aged 18 and over can participate. Each participant has the opportunity to vote for each proposed object separately by choosing «Yes» or «No». Additionally, they can leave a comment explaining their position.

The updated list of toponyms under discussion includes the following proposals:

• rename Chapayeva Street (Peresyp District) to Vyacheslav Kyrylov Street;
• rename Kanatny Lane (Primorsky District) to Mihai Eminescu Lane;
• name the park at the corner of Fontanska Road and Lesya Ukrainka Avenue — «Lesya Ukrainka Park»;
• rename Serednya Street (Khadyzhbey District) to Oleksandr Sviash Street.
