Odessa Attack: Recovery Efforts Following Drone Strike

On the night of July 3rd, hostile drones launched an attack on Odessa. As a result of the enemy's strike, a multi-story building suffered significant damage, and initial assessments indicated that entering some entrances is unsafe.

An operational city headquarters is working on-site to address the aftermath of the attack.

Once the fires were extinguished, the city headquarters immediately began engaging with the residents of the affected building.

Alexander Filatov, the first deputy mayor of Odessa, held a meeting with the residents to discuss critical issues.

During the dialogue, they established a clear action plan: building assessment, preparation of a technical report, assistance with temporary housing, and arranging financial aid.

Specialists from the Odessa Construction Academy are involved in the assessment, with rector Anatoly Krov overseeing the engineers' work.

Access to apartments was also organized to allow residents to retrieve essential items.

The city and humanitarian headquarters continue their operations, while municipal services are clearing debris from the area.
