Preserving Public Transport Stops in Odesa

In Odesa, the municipal enterprise «City Roads» manages 1012 public transport stops, including 7 historical «Belgian» stops that have served the city for over a century.

Unfortunately, every day, vandals damage these stops by breaking benches, destroying trash bins, and smashing glass structures. Damage also occurs due to traffic accidents and hostile actions.

The enterprise's specialists regularly clean the surrounding areas, repair benches, bins, and pavilions, as well as wash and repaint them.

This month, the municipal workers renovated a century-old Belgian stop on 15th St. Fontanskaya Road, which frequently suffers from vandalism.

Since the beginning of 2025, employees have painted 80 transport stops and installed 99 new bins.

The Odesa City Hall once again urges residents and visitors to treat municipal property with care. Deliberate damage to public property can lead to criminal charges.
