Emergency Water Shutdown in Odessa
Important notice regarding the emergency water shutdown in the Peresyp district of Odessa on August 13, 2025.
On the festive occasion of August 24, Odesa commemorates a significant event by unfurling a massive state flag measuring 34 meters in length.
Each meter of this emblem represents a year since Ukraine achieved its independence. It tells the story of our victories and challenges, our journey towards unity, dignity, and strength.
Thanks to the bravery of our military, our flag today flies high, signaling to the world about a strong and unyielding Ukraine. Their courage is what allows us to celebrate, live, and dream.
Thus, today, Odesa holds the blue and yellow banner tightly as a symbol of freedom, gratitude, and hope. It waves over the sea, the streets, and within our hearts. And every gust of wind that unfurls the banner above the city reminds us: we have endured, we exist, and we will continue!
