On September 27, 2024, a significant meeting took place in Odesa, gathering representatives from the Main Department of the State Tax Service of Ukraine in Odesa region, the Southern Interregional Department of the Ministry of Justice, as well as members of the Odesa City Council's executive bodies and heads of communal enterprises.

The meeting, initiated by the Finance Department of the Odesa City Council, focused on exploring ways to enhance the revenue side of Odesa's budget and ensure its execution for the current year.

The main objective of the meeting was to identify collaborative paths that would contribute to improving the budget revenue in 2024 and preparing a robust budget for the upcoming 2025 year.

The event fostered an active dialogue among local government representatives, tax, and executive services. Participants examined in detail the issues arising during the war that hinder effective cooperation.

Moreover, the meeting addressed proposals for resolving problematic issues related to the budget's revenue side, emphasizing the need to enhance the database of taxpayers on land and real estate.

Successful execution of the Odesa City Territorial Community budget will ensure the city's stable operation, providing effective support to the Armed Forces of Ukraine and social assistance to defenders and their families.

A plan for joint actions will be developed based on the meeting's outcomes, aimed at increasing the city's budget revenue through the utilization of all available reserves.
